Geology Field School is EMT-founded and EMT-directed. Wilderness First Responder is the minimum on the ground; Emergency Medical Technician is the medical standard we build around. Kit is specified for this work. Field staff whose first job is safety — not a second hat.

Geo-Hikes
Open social geology hikes and backpacking trips led by Thomas L. Davis, PhD, through the Geologic Maps Foundation. Hikers, geologists, and geology students welcome — you do not need to be a geologist. Separate from industry field courses.
